Welcome back! I’m glad you’ve jumped through this set of hurdles. It’s difficult to keep sight of why you’re writing, especially when you’re surrounded by talks of getting an agent and a book deal, all of which seem so far away. It’s only loving our writing that keeps us going day to day. And sometimes, that’s difficult to remember.

Amanda, I know exactly how you feel. If you check out Lindsay’s site, http://www.lindsayncurrie.webs.com she has an interview with an agent on there. By the way he makes it sound, it’s easier to win the lotto than to get a book published! You have to really love writing to keep going. There are just so many hurdles out there. I’m sure, though, if we all support each other, we’ll make it through by heck or high water! Glad to see you’re back. :)
